This sucks for the unemployed, and the Democrats blame the Republicans for holding to fiscal restraint. There wouldn't be this problem if the democrats hadn't spent so much bailing out the auto industry, TARP, Obamacare etc. The Republicans are trying to hold the line and not increase debt, and the Democrats can't stop spending. Now, I believe we should find a way to extend the unemployment benefits. This will help our economy more than anything else. It won't help to have people lose their homes, and the money they receive in UI benefits will go back into the economy in some fashion. Congress needs to find another program to take the money from!!!
