According to a recent poll only 36% of MNCD4 voters have a positive opinion of Nancy Pelosi. Assume that is Betty's base, the tree hugging, Kool Aid drinking, pachouli oil smelling, hard core leftists with Vote Betty signs in their yard and Obama and Wellstone bumper stickers on their Priuses.
The Republican candidate has received at least 31% of the vote in MNCD4 the last few elections. I know I'm in that group and likely so are you if you are reading this.
There is an unknown 3rd party candidate in the race, who likely will get 5% of the vote, if history holds true. Don't be tempted to vote for him to "Send a Message" -- not this year. Voting for a true constitutional conservative like Teresa Collett will send a message loud and clear to to Pelosi, Reid, Obama and Company!
That leaves 28% in the Undecided category. The exciting thing is that according to a recent poll the undecideds are expected to break hard for Republicans this year. Historically the undecided vote always goes against the party in power in off year elections, and that trend surely will continue this year! With the presence of a 3rd party, it will take around 48% of the vote to win this year.
If the 28% undecideds go 60% for Collett -- adding that total to the 31% Republican base comes out to a 47.8% total for Collett!
Final tally:
Collett 47.8%
McCollum 47.2
3rd Party 5%
Keep up the work constituents of MNCD4; every bit helps. From letters to the editor, tweets, facebook, blogs, Collett yard signs, telling your neighbors etc...spread the word on what Betty hasn't done for MNCD4, and if you are new to this blog, read how Betty denies God in Congress, supports Hamas and is anti-Israel. Or just ask yourself, with the recent revelation of voter fraud in St. Paul, why would Betty McCollum deny voter fraud is a problem, and what has Betty done for MNCD4?
This is a great post. I know in South St Paul, which has always been Betty Territory, there is ONE sign on 7th Avenue that I drive by for Betty. Then there are Teresa signs in my yard, catty corner from me, 2 blocks up, another block up, etc, etc... and that's just the one mile from my house to the freeway. Red signs are a beautiful thing...
ReplyDeleteAnd I am a couple miles down in IGH; I have my Teresa sign, and within a couple blocks there are 3-4 more Teresa signs; There is 1 Betty sign in the area (I saw union bumper stickers on the car).
ReplyDeleteI think Teresa will win. Everyone I talk to about Betty, say it's time for her to go. We need to send money to Teresa so she can get some TV and Radio ads going. Ask friends to put Collett signs in their yards. Help hand out literature. Call Collett for Congress.
ReplyDeleteIt's not enough to "think" Teresa will win. We all have to do whatever we can to spread the word, and make sure everyone within our individual "circles of influence" make it to the polls on Nov. 2. Use Facebook, Twitter, Email to spread the word. This blog is probably the best repository of actual information about Betty McCollum on the internet! Share the links to these pages with your friends!
ReplyDeleteChip Cravaack has moved into a statistical tie with 50 year Washington DC resident Jim Oberstar! We don't really know how close the MNCD4 race is because the lamestream media hasn't bothered to spend the money to do a poll. But if Cravaack has a shot, so does Teresa!
Momentum is on our side folks!
Everyone should start e-mailing the TV stations to report on MNCD4 race. We need to contact Sean Hannity, Rush, Jason Lewis, and Dick Morris, to try to get Teresa some national coverage. Write editorials in all papers. Help do lit drops and donate money to Teresa's campaign.
